Do annually renewing contracts require notification of the annual renewal? My service provider claims I have to notify them 30 days before the annual renewal if I wish to cancel but they claim they do not have to notify me of the pending renewal.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

If the renewal is in the contract, it could indeed be legal. You will have to show the contract to a local attorney to find out for sure.
