I live in Canada.

The mechanic (Ford Dealership) put the wrong starter in my car. The automatic and standard starters are a bit different which is unusual. The mistake cost me around 2000. Breakdown 1000 for another old vehicle 130 in towing costs and 800 in repairs including their bill. It happened over a year ago but I had the car stored until a few weeks ago. The new mechanic discovered the fault at that time. Do I have a possibility of compensation? How do I pursue it?
