I know that this says US only, but I just need to ask. I took over the ownership of a Martial Arts club in February. At this time the club had members that had paid a 1 year membership.
Currently, I have had to close this club down due to the fact that the instructor has quit and could not locate any other instructors to teach.
As the club is part of 3 others, I offered the students the opportunity to continue their training at these clubs. If the students chooses not to go, would I be held accountable for any reimbursement of membeship fees? Is this considered breach of contract when a business terminates?
Thanks
