I am a resident of Oregon, and I have a few accounts at a credit union in Idaho from a few years ago. Recently I have had a problem with my checking account and credit card at this credit union. Last week a teller at the credit union called my mother saying she was an old friend of mine and wanted to invite me to her wedding but she needed my husbands name and address first. Just a few days after she obtained that information my husband recieved a print out of my account balances along with a note telling my husband that I needed to take care of the balances. Can they do that? The accounts are only in my name, and always have been. I believe my husband is named in case of my death for their insurance purposes but he is not a signor on the account. I am angry because this has caused problems with my husband and I and I don't think the credit union had any right to do that. Can I take action?
