Colorado - I made a furniture purchase today on what is supposed to be a no-return no-refund. at a going out of business liquidation sale. I have not picked up the furniture. I called to see if I could get out of it. they said no, when I pushed, they told me to come in and talk to the owner. I wrote a check - can i stop payment without them coming after me with a legal claim?

They can come after you: you have a valid contract. But if they're going out of business, they probably won't bother with it.
