I live in Tarrant County, Texas and I have a lease on an apartment of $1040.00, I have had a major medical health setback to the tune of over $900,000.00 11 surgeries and diagnosed with a blood disease that qualifies me for full disability, I have no income and currently have just received heath and human services assistance. I called my landlord and asked if I could be released and she told me no. Please let me know.

Not even your death will result in the termination of the lease.

Sorry.

On the up side, if he evicts you for non payment VIA the courts in your county, you are off the hook for the rest of the lease term.
