Cannot get title to vehicle.....

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee

I let my daughter have a vehicle and all she had to do was make the remaining payments. The vehicle was paid off in August and she had the title mailed to her (even though it is in my name). I want to get it out of my name but I can't get her to send me the title. Is there any way I can get it out of my name without the title in hand?? Thank you!!

Thank you! But she has gotten the tags for the last 3 years without me.... will this be different? She can be 'creative' and it worries me she will find a way to get a title loan or something.
