What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

We are in the process of buying a truck at a dealer. We paid 3k down and were told we could pick it up in a week after inspection. Now they are saying the back end is shot and they won't fix it and won't give us our money back. They are saying it was as is. The deal wasn't supposed to be final until after we got the truck. We never have had the truck. What can we do?

really? Just what larceny would there be here? Without seeing the contract, we have no idea if the OP even has a civil claim to rescind the contract.
