What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee
I bought a new vehicle from a dealership, paid them with a blank bank check from my bank and 3 months later, the dealership called and said they lost the check. I have statement from dealership saying paid $$$$ by check and name of the bank. I have amount owed zero (balance). do you have to still pay for the vehicle or no cause you a zero balance? Its not my fault the dealership lost their money.

Subtract your bank fee for stopping the check from the amount of the replacement check. You don't get a free car.
