What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I purchased a used vehicle in November 2009 from a large Toyota dealership, gave them my down payment and went home with the vehicle and a signed contract. After about 5 weeks, since the dmv tags seemed to be taking a long time, I contacted the dealership. They informed me they had yet to secure financing. It is now almost February and they still have not found financing. My contract clearly states they have 10 days to inform me, in writing, if they can not find financing. I contact the dealership daily and they just keep telling me they are working on it. Do I have any rights? Can I enforce this contract? Should I hire a lawyer?
