NC Guilford County. My Daughter leased a car from Chrysler Financial. The lease is now up and the final statement has come. She had property taxes added in her monthly payment. This totaled $587.52 for the three year period. Her actual taxes for this period was $299.89 and was paid by Chrysler. This leaves an amount of $287.63 overpayment to Chrysler. The property tax payment was listed under "other" on the contract and there is no mention of conditions on the contract front or back. Chrysler Financial has sent her the final statement listing the cost for extra mileage and the deduction of security deposit but has no mention of the overpayment of taxes.
They are not responding to her calls. Should she not be reimbursed for these monies?
