i buoght a truck on 3-1-03 gave the car lot $1000 down payment.i provided all the info. they requested. three weeks later they want to see proof of house payments. we already provided them with reciepts of everything they requested. all the paper work was final and complete on 3-1-03. on 4-2-03 i wake up at 12:30 to a tow truck driver taking the truck. so that day i went down to the dealership and asked for my down payment back and they said i didnt provide the proof of current house payments. so i broke the contract and i loose the down payment of $1000. what can i do? i can't afford an attorney. or to go to small claims court. did they steal my truck? do i go to the police? help!please. thank you in advanced.
