I recently reserved a rental car from a well known agency in california. when i arrived to pick up the rental car i was asked to supply a phone number in addition to my home number. The employee told me there had been car thefts, which he felt the need to repeat to me during the course of the verbal exchange we had. I supplied the requested information. The employee refused to rent me a car because I told him that I had already heard his spill about the car thefts and that I did not care to hear it anymore. do i have any legal recourse in this matter?
