What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? maryland

I took my 2010 toyoto prius to the dealer in first oil change. (2 months old and only 4300 mile). When driving home the car stopped. Dealer picked it up but informed me later that the oil had leaked out and the engine will have to be replaced. I'm very angry, what can I do? Can I get a new car?

No, but you should be a able to have the damage repaired.

ETA: Ask for a loaner while the work is being done.

Mistakes do happen, you don't get a new car if a new engine will do. That's practically as good as a new car anyway. There's nothing wrong with the REST of the car. Of course, if the dealership is WILLING to give you a new car instead of just the engine, that's their option.
