I took my truck into a car dealership to have a "free" estimate done to see what repairs would cost. When I went back to pick up the truck, they gave me a bill for almost $300.00 for freight charges for ordering parts to fix the truck. I didn't sign anything, but now they are saying that if I don't pay that they will take me to court. I never made an agreement with them verbal or otherwise.. can they sue me? They say it doesn't matter that I didn't sign anything that we had a "verbal agreement". Is that legally binding?
