What is the name of your state? Ohio

My mother passed away on August 16,2003 and she left her car to me. She had borrowed money against the car. However; she has insurance that will pay off the car but we are still waiting on the Death certificate. The finance company reposessed the car this morning, Sept. 24, 2003. I need to know what I can do to get the car returned to me. The finance company is wanting $1008.00 from me including the repo charges. I would greatly appreciate any advice you can offer.

You should have continued making the scheduled payments. You would have been reimbursed by the insurance company for all payments made from the date of your mother's death. If you want the car, you will have to pay the repo fees yourself.
