A customer left her dress to be altered knowing it will cost her $200-300. She then calls during non business hours and leaves a message to not do the work but the work was already completed before the message was received. Now customer doesn't want to pick up and pay. I want to take it to small claims court. Opinions? Who is liable/responsible?

Can there be any doubt? Send the customer a written demand that the charges be paid within ten days and she can have the altered garment, or you will see her in court with the dress!
