What is the name of your state? OKLAHOMA

We own a small bussiness real small we live from job to job we had a job for a lady that died the month after we were told by her to do the job, her brother called to inform us that she had died but reasured us that he had our money set back for the job to be finished, we were not to have the job compleated until the middle of August but the brother asked us if we could get it in before the middle of April so we did now he and the lawyer say that she spent some of the mony and that he had to pay bills and now it may be months before we can get our money, we have been charged over $300.00 in Ins. funds at our bank because we cannot get our money. He said to charge them intrest and the charges. Are we allowed to do this and how much intrest can we charge. We are desperate about to lose our bussiness over this.

Was there a written contract with either of them that included interest if not paid? Have you filed against the estate?
