I have a legal question if anyone can answer. I do a charitable auction annually with both live and silent items. This year we had a celebrity say we could auction a spot for someone to caddy for him. After the auction, the celebrity decided he did not want to allow the person to caddy for him. There was no exchange of money nor did we have any contract or anything signed by the celebrity or the highest bidder. She is now suing the charity for discrimination. Is the charity responsible for this situation.

thanks
