What is the name of your state? PA

I signed a piece of paper to become a registered dancer for a charity in a dancing contest. I was suppoesed to pay them 25 dollars upon arival to the event.

I did not attend the event and I did not pay them, they are coming after me telling me I have to pay eventhough I did not go. Is this valid? I think there may have been something on the pages attached to the paper I signed saying I had to pay anyhow.

If you signed something saying you had to pay anyhow then the obvious answer here would be ----you have to pay anyhow.

Most things have a cancel deadline or penalty so I think this is completely legitimate.
