I wrote a check to a Gymnastics Coach for my daughters class in November 2002, which this payment was for December 2002 tuition. She stopped going to class November 22, 2002, I stopped payment on the check. The stop payment with my bank expires May 26th, 2003. My question is it has been 6 months, can the Gymnastics Coach run that check thru my bank and be paid? My stop payment is only good for 6 months, and then I have to renew it. I don't want to have to renew it and pay the 25.00. What is considered a stale check?
