What is the name of your state? South Carolina
Hello, I placed an original piece of Art with a local consignment store. The signed agreement was 60/40 split if the item sold. I was to get 60% of the price. The item sold on May 1st for $2000.00. The shop notified me of the sale and than asked if I would accept a repayment schedule from them because they were having financial difficulties. I agreed,by e-mail, to accept $100 immediately and $300 per month until paid. They agreed. I received $100 immediately but the payment I received this month is for $200 not $300. My worry is that they will declare bankruptcy and I will never receive my money.
