What is the name of your state? Minnesota

I have a contract signed by a service provider. I didn't think they were performing to the letter of their contract so I requested to cancel the service, which was in my right.

I requested that the service provider send me a copy of my complete file. They have both a physical file and a computer file. They are telling me I only have a right to the physical file content, and no right to recieve a copy of the computer file.

Is this true???

I thought by law I was entitled to have full copies and/or access to my files upon my request.
