What is the name of your state? Texas

my son co-signed for his girlfriend 2 yrs ago for a new car - they broke up shortly afterward. she has been consistently late on payments, is currently $900 behind, and probably cannot pay it. he is extremely concerned about this going onto his credit and calls to ask her to make payments on time. she told him yesterday to take the car, that she didn't care. it's been in an accident and not in real good shape. he has been layed off for a long time and just started a job so his finances are not in the best shape. are there any options to get out of this contract so his credit is not ruined?

Of course this what GREAT PARENTS are for: To bail out thier irresponsible kids with MONEY to pay off the debt. ASAP!

Thats it ....if your son means that much to you , you will fork out the cash, and keep his credit clean!

Then you can sue the x-GF for all the money you both lost.
