Hi can anyone please help?
I'm from the UK. And have recently been sent a not so nice letter.

I sent a written letter making a provisional booking for a campsite, I included a £5.00 deposit so secure the area. On the day we ended up staying somewhere else.

However we did go to the site, knocked on the door and no one answered, we looked around, no one about, and so left and ended up staying else where.

I have sionce had a letter saying unless I pay the balance she will take legal action?
Is this possible? I mean, we had not written or verbal contract saying we would, and isn't thats why you pay a deposit?

Can anyone help
