What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA
I had wind damage and received an estimate from a contractor to repair my roof. The insurance comapny never stated that they would not accept the estimate. The contractor was notified but he still performed the work and I did not find this information out until today. This work was performed in 2008 the contractor has sued me plus put a lein on the house and the judge sided with him. I tried to appeal but the appeal was denied. Georgia is an at will state that caters to businesses whether they are right or wrong what options do I have ?

Since you have a judgment against you, and your appeal has been denied, you must pay the contractor.

You can sue your insurance company for breach of contract. I have no idea if you can succeed.
