we have a small business that provides market research and data management field services. this requires we contact x number of consumers and businesses for our client a mid-sized bank in the reqion.

our client entered into a signed contract in january 2001 requiring 1 year of interviewing and statistical reporting performed by our company. Much of the programming, training etc was performed at the inception of the contract and was expected to be recouped throughout the year. the client is terminiating the contract with no reason given. the only hint we had was the were looking to change the scope of the contract to capture more information, requiring more programming and statistical support. when we provoded the new numbers, they complainded the cost was too high (it was 7,000 below the original contract) what options do we have. We're small business owners.
