    Question contract objection

What is the name of your state? New Mexico

My wife and I entered into a contract to purchase a house through a realator. We both signed the contract. My wife had to leave town until the day before closing. After the inspection and after she left, I found problems with the house and wish to terminate the contract. Do I need my wife's signature on the objection letter to terminate, since we both signed the contract? Or do I just need mine?

Also, the contract says nothing about the objection having to be in writing. Is a verbal objection good enough?

    Thanks,

    jim

Have your wife fax her DL and SS card along with a telephone number where she can be reached to your realator. She can write down her objections to the inspection, and sign it.
This worked for my wife and I when we were in the same situation. Maybe an e-mail would work too
