What is the name of your state? Kentucky.

I have provided a service under a written contract with a county government since 1998. The contract automatically renews for four year terms unless 90 days notice is given by either party that they do not intend to renew.

The local government is attempting to get released from the contract but not by any written notice.

Their contention is that the contract invalid because it was not advertised for bids.

My contention is that even if they are correct, it was of no fault of mine that the contract was not bid and I feel it should still be binding upon the county government.

Any thoughts or ideas?
