we had a contractor hired about 2 years ago, to put a new roof on house and a garage. contractor took roof off house and had it off for 3 months just had tarps for a roof for 3months. contractor lied about his experience in roofing and buildings garages. he did not even know how to build a garage. finally did get roof back on but was not done correctly. had problems he kept telling us he needed more money then what was origally quoted. finally we had enough told him not to come back. found out in order to file charges had to get him back, so we did not break the contact. so we got him back, he wanted last $5000.oo. gave it to him he came back one day put few pieces of wood up for garage and skipped town never came back to finish garage. went to court won lawsuit, never have yet got money back. had rain damaged in house, had to hired another contractor to brace roof better,so that it would not cave in with snow on roof, had to hire lawyer too, had to get some one else to build garage. repair rain damage to. he stole the last $5000
need help how can we go about at least getting some of our money back from here. state this happened in was ohio.
can we garnish his and his wife's paychecks she signed all checks we gave him and it was her social security number on checks signed.
need to stop this man before he does this again. please help us by telling us what we can do to go after this man. he now lives in another state. know address and phone number just don't know what more we can do to get help.
