What is the name of your state? Texas
I've traded in my old car and was financed (or so I thought) for my new car. I was told everything was finished, congratulations on my new car, etc. The saleslady realized 2 weeks later that the financial institution backed out on the financing. She already paid my old car off and sold it to a wholesaler! Now, she might want the new car back if she can't find a lender to finance me. Doesn't this fall under the Deceptive Trade Act? Do I have a case?

There was a post very similar (actually several of them) in the past couple of weeks. Do a search of the archives to see the responses.
