A now ex-friend has a bridal consulting business and I said I would be happy to help out her business by letting her do my wedding. She did not do anything to help out and is now sending me to collections to collect $400 which she claims I owe for services rendered. She had sent me a contract, but I never signed it.
Can she collect this money from me even though a contract was never signed between myself and her company and also because whatever services she claimed she "rendered" is in fact a false statement?
