What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL

In FL, we have a signed agreement with a Debt Management program who negoitated our credit card debt interest rates down to make our payments more affordable and give us a chance to pay our way out instead of filling for Bankruptcy.

Each month we pay $1,112.00 which is our monthly payments and a $69.00 admin fee for them handling it all.

They have paid late once and we called them and the payment was promptly made.

In November they cashed the check but did not pay. We have called and emailed them with no response. We went to their office and our agent was "out to lunch".

Can we go to the police for theft? Do we have any recourse to get our money back and/or the payment made?

This is NOT a police matter. It's not theft. It's a contract dispute and would need to be handled through the civil courts (if you are inclined to take legal action.)
