A magazine company called me at work - said I could get mag's for cheap - I agreed! They said no mag's would be sent until I made the payment. I started getting the magazines at home and then at work - then the bill came and it said I have agreed to a contract of 30$ a month for two years. I called them to cancel and they said I agreed to the terms and they have it on tape. They said clearly on the tape (which they played back for me that I cannot cancel these magazines! ) I don't remember it this way.
They told be I am bond to this, verbal over the phone contract.
Is there anything I can do - before they put it through to collections?
Mad in NewYork over Magazines
Thanks:rolleyes:
