What is the name of your state? NJ

we purchased a new home and signed exhibits which specified colors, design, etc. for each upgrade that was ordered. The sales woman screwed up the numerical order of these exhibits and we therefore ended up with duplicate numbers for different items. She evidently corrected this is the builder's file but never had us sign the corrected copies. Because of this one of the ordered items was never installed and never charged to our account. The exhibit for that item is #5 in our files but was totally omitted in hers and replaced by another exhibit altogether. Can she change these documents after we had signed them? The builder told us that the documents in their file are the only legal ones because those are signed by the owner of the company. I have exhibits for many other items that were installed in our house without the exhibit ever being 'signed' by the owner.
