My wife purchased 3 dolls for $49.99 apiece on ebay. the description said they were pulled from almost every shelf in the country. the next day we discovered them at toys r us stores and target stores at $19.99 each, and that wal mart was the only store at the time to have pulled the doll. we bought 1 from toys r us. though we know it is frowned upon and may be "unethical" to some, we reniged on the ebay purchase. we felt the we were misled and didn't feel too bad about it under the cicumstances. the seller now says he may sue for the price of the 3 dolls, he is in pennsylvania. are we still legally obligated to pay? we don't even have the merchandise. if he sues and we don't show up will he automatically be awarded?
