I purchased a used bag on ebay. It was supposed to arrive before I went on an extended trip out of the country, but it was delayed until after I left. I did not get to inspect the bag until over a month after it arrived. It was not exactly as described and had more damage then the description claimed. I tried to take it to be fixed, but a specialist told me there was nothing that could be done. I tried contacting the seller for over a month and when a got no response I cancelled it through my credit card company. She finally emailed me a nasty letter telling me that she had informed paypal that she would be taking legal action if she didn't get the money back and since I made the complaint over a month after the bag was delivered I had no claim (she thinks I used the bag and now have buyers remorse). Do I have a valid claim?
I still have the bag. Should I return it now or wait for the credit card company to tell me to do so?
