extended service provider for computer was scheduled to have motherboard replaced one month before contract was to expire.
However, their contractors repeatedly botched job and caused some additional problems. Now, since warranty is expired, they are offering to have computer tested, and replace anything found defective, but will not stand by with a warranty in the event contractor causes additional damage as a result of testing.
Can they do this? Aren't they still obliged to protect against any additional damages?
