We are following a claim against FedEx, as they lost an important package we sent to England. The package has never been delivered as there is no record of a signature or scan. The package contained a bankcard which we could not use in the USA as it belongs to an English bank account we have, however we needed to access the money so we sent it out to have someone withdraw money and send to us. The PIN was not disclosed within the package so it quite secure.

The problem we have had with fedex is getting them to confirm the lost package, which they couldn't do. The issue has been going on since dec 13th a month ago and we had no phone call from them regarding anything. We had to call up and chase them and our package. Later on around the 29th december through calling the bank to get a new card the bank informed me that the card had got to them-how this happened i don't know! Its all very suspicious... i know that someone has opened the package and fedex doesn't know who, when or where!! to this date...their searches have come to nothing.

We are claiming against them not for the things in the package but the fact they lost it and didn't know, they never called to inform us. They had made a couple of attempts to deliver the package before they lost it on the 16th and the 19th of december. All the time they were going to the wrong house address. the label was correct and when we called them to give directions to the address on the label they still couldn't manage it!! this comes down to negligence or someone not doing their job, had they followed the instructions which were very clear this would never have happened.

Due to this we have suffered greatly on a financial level all our bills are past due, and we have been greatly delayed in replacing the bankcard as they never called to inform us of what was going on. This was terrible customer service and have had a troubled time in finding out from them the available remedies. We know they pay out for consequential damages even though a few people there have told us otherwise and tried to get rid of us with a $100 check for the contents. But our damages have been immense. What are the legal aspects surrounding this kind of situation, do we have a case, what do we need to do? Please help, we are very desparate to resolve this.

We thank you for your time and patience.
Regards,

Caleb and Janan
