Friend selling my car, does he sign bill of sale?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Utah

I've been trying to sell my Jeep for 3+ months with no luck. I'm in a small town (28,000) and it's a 2.5+ hour drive to any of the major ones so no one is biting. I had a friend take my Jeep with him to where he lives which is a much larger city near Salt Lake City, UT.

My only question is, legally, do I need to sign the bill of sale or does he? Or do both of us need our signature?

You need to assign him a POA to convey the title of the vehicle.
