What is the name of your state? IL. We had a furnace co. check our unit. A coil was replaced and I was told the unit was functioning properly and ok to run. Four days later with a city inspection, I was told the unit was an endangerment & a hazard. The thing is, the person from the company that said the unit was fine four days earlier was the same person from the same company now with the city stating it was dangerous. I refused to pay the bill. Since they claim the unit was dangerous & my gas was shut off in the middle of winter, then this company put my life in danger by saying it was functioning properly. Where do I go from here? Something is wrong with this picture.
