What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado
If a homeowners Association discovers that it has been overcharging some homeowners (by over $100.00 a month) can the owners legally recover the overcharges, and if so, how far back may they recover ? The Board of Directors seem to think they can change the future assessments and just say oops for the years of overcharging, but not pay anything back.
