What is the name of your state? Wisconsin
Sold a horse with no warranties or guarantees, not sold on a trial basis. Buyer rode horse had presale vet check. Later returned horse and now wants refund. What are my rights as a seller?

Depends on whether the implied warranty of merchantability applies in your transaction. Unless the buyer explicitly waived this warranty, or you explicitly sold the horse "as is", the buyer may have a claim.

But this is only if the horse fails to meet the objectively reasonable expectations of a horse buyer. The buyer has no rights to return the horse just because he changed his mind, found a better horse, etc.
