What is the name of your state? NJ
I wanted to file a small claims suit against a garage door manufacturer from another state. I was told that would not be possible. If I wanted to present a lawsuit how would I go about it.

Garage door is rusting and manufacturer will not replace. There isn't anything listed in purchase agreement about laws prevailing in the State of NJ. Since the manufacturer is from Ohio, I cannot
file a small claims against them in NJ. Other than small claims court, how and where can I sue this company in court. The damages are $1250.00.
