My son lives approx. 2 hrs. from me and he purchased a used van from a used car dealer 2 months ago. He paid by check in full and has not received the title to the van yet. He has attempted to call the dealership several times but as of now has not gotten any response. The dealer will not return his phone calls or if he stops by they tell him the owner is who he needs to see and by the way the owner is never there. What can he do now? Do you advise taking the dealer to court? Should he get an attorney? What exactly is the law in Virginia for this kind of problem?
