undefinedundefinedWhat is the name of your state? Florida

I signed papers last Monday for a new car. My husband cosigned (needed his income too) on my loan and on that friday quit his job. I received a phone call today saying that financing fell through and they need the vehicle back, and I need to pay them for the "work" they did on my trade in. ( They paid off the remaining balance for me). Is this legal??? What are my rights? And Why did they wait a full week to verify employment?? Why did they let me drive it home?
Thanks,
Mary

They may have tried to verify his employment and was told he no longer works for the said company. Ummmm if you needed your husband's income in order to process the deal.....why did he quit his job at the end of the week?

Yep...you are so right. It is a long story but I think everything has turned out for the best. I got my trade in back so at least I have a car. I think God really didn't want me to be over my head anyway. Thanks for responding.

God Bless,
Mary  :p
