What is the name of your state? I live in New Mexico. Here's what happened. One of those stupid telephone sales people contacted me and offered me a magazine package. I thought it would be a good idea, because I spend a lot on cover prices for magazines. Well, naturally they signed me up for 5 million other things but told me I had 30 days to cancel.
So I got my packages and I called and cancelled each one. Now today, I find out that these little companies have charged my debit card for the services anyway. And the interesting thing is, it was all the same company called Synergy. So, I've called them back and was told that they have no record of my cancelling. They have to give me my money back don't they when I haven't used the services. I'd like to cancel the magazine thing too because obviously they lied about their "sister" offers.
Any body in this same situation?
