N.C.we are first time home buyers and we have been paying on a double wide for 4 months, and paying a separate land payment for 2 months. The problem is we can not live on our land or in our home because it is not being finished. We have repeatedly called and tried to talk things over, but each time, we are dismissed and nothing is ever done. We signed our contract 7 months ago. We are living in an apartment, and it is getting hard to pay a rent payment and these two other bills, as living expenses. What is our legal rights as consumers? The land people are making no attempt to make our land "livable". please help
