We live in Illinois. My husband signed a contract to purchase a used vehicle just yesterday 6/18/01. Being so overjoyed in qualifing for the loan he did not read the contract and or paperwork he signed. Come to find out the percentage rate the salesman told him he would get was wrong. Can we cancel this contract within 72 hour period? We still want the vehicle but the contract did not read as the salesman said it would. Also the $2000.00 we were to be getting for the trade in vehicle was on the contract as being traded in for only $200.00. Please help in this matter a.s.a.p. in case we can take immediate action.
