I purchased rug at auction listed as "Native American Navajo Yea Rug". It is a fake according to collectors that have seen it. If there was a disclaimer on the auction sign up sheet that says it is up to me to verify the authenticity of items purchased. Does that relieve them of responsibility even though they had it listed that way when others were listed as 'possibly' this or that?
